I would like to remember K-ON simply as one of those anime series whose main purpose is nothing more than a light form of entertainment – able to deliver a chuckle or two and at times and yet completely immerse the atmosphere to some degree of seriousness when the Light Music Club is dealt with day-to-day challenges. Unfortunately, most of us probably remember K-ON by the our respective favorites moe, the disagreements as to who is the best, and all the other related idiocy.
During the early stages of the series, Mio definitely falls onto one of the popular (if not notorious, depending on whose side you’re on) favorites. And if there’s one thing that you can be most certain of when it comes to why Mio is a popular favorite, it would be none other than the show’s very own ED sequence, “Don’t Say Lazy.” Ah yes, I remember how happy the masses of avid fanboys were as if it were only yesterday.
That said, if you like “Don’t Say Lazy” so much, perhaps I can recommend you to, erm, some rather unusual yet interesting variation.
