Winter is here; and as much as I hate the cold that will eventually freeze my ass off, there’s nothing much I can do other than endure it. That said, a change of seasons mean a change of schemes. Doesn’t make a lot of sense to keep an orange theme for Fall that’s about to end in about a few weeks.
Banners
I didn’t make much, mainly because there’s not a lot of Winter-based stocks as opposed to Summer where any girl with a swimsuit will do. Now do you see why I like Summer better? So for this season, I only made three.
Cirno – Ice Throne
But what is Winter without our beloved Ice Fairy from Tohou? I have to be honest, she was the first thing that came to mind when I contemplated on Winter banners. Then again, it’s no surprise considering the people I know who know Touhou are fanatics of Cirno, if not Reimu.
Ilya – Frosty Horizons
In case you didn’t know, Ilya is from Fate Stay Night. She didn’t cross my mind until I saw somebody with a similar hat to hers. After that, stuff just fell right into place.
Yui and Ui – Snowglobe Playground
Last but not the least, we have our adorable K-ON imouto in their younger years. I was actually having a hard time working with them especially since I wanted a bluish color scheme when they themselves are wearing the opposite color in the spectrum. To make ends meet, I tried using some green which I hope would connect to the red and yellow. Turned out okay I guess. The snowglobe idea happened a bit later.
So there you go. I think I just abused vectors.
