You're very welcome. I'm glad I was able to share my interest with somebody else.

Marathoning is a wonderful thing but is somewhat slightly harder to accomplish than the average episodic watching. Thank god Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu is one of those shows I marathoned.

Cliche...well, like you, I really didn't mind at all. And ding ding ding! Stereotype is the more appropirate word! Yes, I've seen too many instances where the wife runs the head of the family. Sigh. I'd hate to be the husband of such a wife. Oh god..no... :dizzy:

How nice of you making your cousins <del>labrats</del> research models  . I guess when you put it that way, I guess Yūto was acting just as how most highschoolers would act (which unfortunately includes certain fantasies  ).

And I know exactly what you mean in regards to being looked down at when people find out you resort to anime and whatnots. But whatever, I just shove them aside. Good for you that you somehow got through it.

Mika...Mika...haha, I love that girl for her wits. If anything, she's the other main reason that made the show so interesting, with much emphasis on her dirty thoughts. Now that I think about, I think I see too many real-life Mikas.

You know what? You're definitely right! The series does come close to real life stuff.

You're very welcome! I hope I can help you watch other good series again. ^_^

I'll leave Mika to you as long as you leave me waifu, Haruka alone.
Like I said in the post, cliche is of a small concern just as long as a series kept me glued on my seat all the way to the end. I'm glad you were glued to it too.

Yes, it really really is a funny show - and I just can't emphasize it enough! Mika..omg, I think I lolled 90% of the time because of her.

As for the romance, I'm not too sure if realistic is the right word to use, but I do agree it's cute. And balance, yes...I could care less if it appeals men or women but it sure does appeal to me! :D

Well, thank you for mentioning it on Twitter, otherwise I'd never watch it!

Okay, I see that marathonising is popular amongst us! But Nogizaka Haruka No Himitsu was worth it after all! I really couldn't take my eyes of the pc screen!

Well, cliche is really popular, too! I had no problem with that, in fact I didn't really notice at all, but the circumstances during all this caught me there. I also think you can say that the relationship and symmetry between Haruka's parents is not so much about cliche, but it's still kinda stereotypical. I can see it even between my very own parents, that wife has the ultimate word, isn't that right?

Now, about Yuuto... I don't know much about male phychology, but taking some of my male cousins as research models, I can say that he's just the real average student and boy, not the very perverted and bad guy, but just a normal high schooler.

As regards Haruka, I can't tell about her popularity, but her obsession towards manga and anime I really get it. With the prejudice she faced. I've lived that kind if situation, where Haruka was laughed at when they discovered about that interest of hers, even though I dealt with it very differently. She was pushed aside and her personality couldn't help her cope with the circumstances. I managed to get through it.

Mika is my other side, that comes out in front of the mass, the other side of the coin. She's thought to know everything about relationships, but in reality she didn't live this herself, it's just her common sense guiding her when giving advice. She seems to have really dirty thoughts, especially in the scenes at the store's department!!! She's really the spirit into this!

What I want to say is that all about Nogizaka Haruka No Himitsu is coming from real life, and that's why it's so good. It's not the bubbles of imagination, it's true. And that's what attracted me.

Okay, that's all from me. Thanks again. Bye!

Just leave Mika to me :> I found myself not wanting to like Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu because it felt so cliche and mediocre, but something kept me coming back for more. I marathoned it as well, so perhaps that helped me too. In any case, it's a nice fun fluffy series to watch when you're in the mood for it.

Hakura really is a funny show. Especially because of Mika and the chainsaw maid.

The romance in Hakura was realistic and cute. It's something that appeals to both men and women too, which is a hard balance to achieve in any anime show. And now that I think about it, their were a lot of harmounizing opposites in the series.

Hakura is also one of my favorite shows. Here's to hoping season two lives up to season one.
